I’m tired of studying, I really am,
I don’t want to draw a diagram,
I’d rather look out the window. See,
The “natural beauty” that surrounds me!
The first visible thing’s a Peepul tree,
And a colourful variety of birds and bees,
The parrots resting on the wall,
The golden leaves, as they fall.
The crows building their small nests,
The pigeons pooping; OH! The pests!
I see the clouds that fill the sky
The planes that came soaring by.
And in the distance, beauty comes to me,
In the form of the blue-blue sea!
It’s just outside my small, sweet home,
The sight that inspired this poem!
True, its not the prettiest sight ever seen,
It’s not enchanting, somber, clean,
It’s not awesome as the white snow,
But I like the scene beyond my window!
